Margaret Harvey

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Western North Carolina is the best place to live for active families, retirees, and young couples.

A native of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Margaret Harvey was educated at Troy State University. Partnering with her husband, she owned and operated a thriving restaurant in Troy, Alabama, where she managed all aspects of accounting and payroll. She and her family relocated to Asheville 24 years ago. Margaret worked with Genova Diagnostics in their Human Resources department for 14 years before joining the team at Carolina HR Partners as Director of Administrative Services in 2004. In addition to her role at CHRP, Margaret has worked with ACM Design since 2004 to manage the billing, bookkeeping, human resources, and administrative functions for the firm. Her expertise in these areas makes her an invaluable asset to ACM Design.

In her free time, Margaret likes to spend time with her family. She loves animals, especially her beloved golden retriever, and time at the beach. Margaret enjoys time outside gardening or just relaxing on her deck. The full four seasons of Western North Carolina are what drew her to the area so many years ago.

“I like to tell people that I’m in the smile business: making our clients happy and team members happy. I make the office at ACM Design run smoothly and efficiently so the focus can be on our clients and delivering the highest caliber design solutions.”

Behind the Scenes with Account Manager, Margaret Harvey

Q: How do you take your coffee

A: “Cream & a little sugar.  How do you like your coffee?  Stop in and let’s have a cup together.”

Q: What is your personal design style?

A: “I enjoy comfort and creating a place for family and friends to gather.  I like large rooms with spaces for treasures found while traveling or made by one of the many wonderful artists in our region.  My favorite room in the house is our open plan kitchen and family room.   When not cooking, I am happiest relaxing by the pond we have on our property and enjoying solitude and some privacy.”

Q: If you could visit anywhere in the world you haven’t been, where would it be?

A: “Fiji.”
