Biltmore Forest Lower Level Renovation
Several years after moving into their new home, this Biltmore Forest family began to expand to include significant others and grandchildren, so creating new guest and gathering spaces became a priority for family and friends to gather for holidays and events. Having worked with Amy Conner-Murphy previously, the homeowners naturally began their project with ACM Design.
“The family that plays together, stays together” inspired the open concept design connecting a gathering kitchen with large family dining to both an outdoor living space and an indoor family gathering and game space, equipped with billiard and foosball tables. A golf simulator and home gym offer other options for fun with relaxation after the games in the sauna or outdoor spa. If a glass of wine sounds like more fun, take a seat in the wine room with stone and wrought iron accents.
A quiet guest suite with adjacent quiet living space offers the perfect complement to the larger gathering spaces. What was once a little used “basement” space has been completely transformed to offer a special family an extraordinary place to gather.
