Front Elevation at Night of the Sustainable Living Craftsman

In a recent blog post by NC Design Online, one of ACM Design’s past projects is discussed as one of the favorites currently online.

I could find myself immediately at home in this Mountain Craftsman styled home designed by Asheville architect, Amy Conner-Murphy, AIA, of ACM Design and built by Sean Sullivan, of Living Stone Construction, Inc., in Black Mountain. The home includes many green features. In addition to receiving a Gold-level certification from North Carolina’s Healthy Built Homes initiative, it was awarded the Best Green Building Home by the NC Home Builder’s Association.” —Judge

The Gold Level Certified Home has not only been a favorite of NC Design Online but visitors on the ACM Design Houzz page as well. The modern craftsman home has wonderful custom features throughout and was awarded the Best Green Building Home by the NC Home Builder’s Association in 2008.
